about me
My journey in UX design has been all about understanding users and creating designs that not only meet their needs but also delight them. I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse industries—including gaming, web development, mobile development, and software development—where I’ve applied user-centered design principles to tackle complex challenges and deliver products that resonate with users.
In my current role as a Lead UX Designer at DIGIT, a Scopely Studio, I lead a talented team dedicated to enhancing the user experience for Star Trek Fleet Command. A significant part of my work involves creating and implementing processes that streamline workflows and ensure our design output is both efficient and of the highest quality. I mentor my team at all levels, from junior designers to principal-level experts, guiding them through the intricacies of UX design and supervising every detail that goes into the game. My responsibility is to ensure that every feature and interface is polished, user-friendly, and adheres to top-notch standards through continuous feedback and iteration.
Beyond my role at Scopely, I’m also a UX Mentor at UX Tree, where I help guide and develop the next generation of UX professionals. Mentorship is a deep passion of mine because it allows me to give back to the design community while staying engaged with emerging trends and techniques. I believe that sharing knowledge and fostering growth in others is as important as delivering great design work.
My experience spans from hands-on design to leadership, and I’ve always been driven by a desire to create meaningful, user-friendly experiences. Whether I’m working on a high-profile game or mentoring a budding designer, my focus remains on the user and ensuring their interaction with a product is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
